We had a wonderful fair weekend!
Thanks to all who came down to support us and our vendors!
All the shows had wonderful exhibits and livestock. The ITPA pull went off extremely well, and the Antique Pull went well too.
Hope to see you next year, June 12-15, at the 2025 Piatt County Fair!
Today at the Piatt County Fair is the Beef Cattle Show this morning, and the Piatt County Outlaw Hookers Antique Tractor Pull.
Come out and watch some good shows--both have no cost for admission.
The Antique Pull will start with entries at 11:00. Sit in the stands or bring lawn chairs and umbrellas (it will be hot!!).
Bishops and Highway Heartburn will be open for lunch.
If nonlivestock exhibitors have not picked up their entries, today is the day to do that and pick up checks in the office.

Weren't the fireworks last night great?!! THANKS to the Village of Cerro Gordo for a great show! We hope they will sponsor it again next year!
Tonight is the Tractor Pull--our biggest event of the Fair. It starts at 6:30 p.m. Come out and enjoy the fun! $15 for adults, $5 for kids at the grandstands. Pit entrance charges more. Thanks to Rural King for sponsoring the sled!
Before the Pull is the Tot Rod pull--a pedal tractor pull for the youngsters. Registration starts at 4:00 with the pulls starting after that.
Sally the Clown will be back this evening, as will 25/8Xtreme with the zip line, rock climbing wall, and inflatables.

This evening, for the first time in many years, we have a fireworks display scheduled!! This is sponsored by the Village of Cerro Gordo. Please come down to the grounds after dark to show your support for the Village's generosity (and to support our vendors and the Silver Lake band)!
Also on today is the Dairy show at about 9:30 a.m. and judging of all nonlivestock exhibits, starting at 9:00.
This evening at 5:00 25/8Xtreme will be ready for business and so will Sally the Clown.
6:00 is the Flag Day ceremony at our flagpole, officiated by the Cerro Gordo American Legion.
8:00 is Silver Lake in the Beer Barn.
Come enjoy some Fair food (Bishops, Highway Heartburn, Wild Scarecrow) and check out the rest of our vendors!
The Piatt County Fair starts Thursday night!
Our food vendors will be there--Bishops, who has been at our Fair for years, Highway Heartburn with their smash burgers, Crunchy Cravings with freeze dried candy and fruit, Wild Scarecrow with Italian ice and popcorn. On Friday and Saturday we will also have Mini Melt Ice Cream.
Rockin' Randy will be DJing in the Beer Barn.
Nonlivestock exhibits come in and Floriculture will be judged.
Dairy cattle will be in place.
